Becoming a supplier

What is required to list, how review and verification work, what it costs, and what the platform will not sell you.

This page explains what is required to list on humanoid4rent, what the platform does with your listing, and what it will not do for you. It is written so you can decide quickly whether this is worth your time.

Who this is for

Companies that own or have contractual control of humanoid or legged robots and can deploy them with competent people: event and experiential agencies with robot fleets, robotics integrators, AV and production companies that have added robots, research groups that hire out equipment, and distributors who operate demonstration units.

It is not for resellers who would subcontract a job to somebody they have not worked with. Every listing must be backed by a specific physical unit you can schedule.

What you need before you start

  • A registered company, with the registration details.
  • For each robot: the manufacturer, the model, and evidence that you own it or control it.
  • Honest media. Photographs or video of your own deployments are worth far more here than manufacturer footage, and every image records its provenance, so a demonstration reel is labelled as one.
  • A clear statement of what your robots actually do, and whether that is autonomous, teleoperated or pre-programmed.
  • Your service area, your lead time, and your cancellation policy.
  • Insurance details.

How onboarding works

You create an organisation, add your robots as assets, and create listings. A listing is a package you sell, not a robot: the same robot can back an operated event package and a self-operated research hire, and those are two listings.

Listings are reviewed before publication. Review is not a rubber stamp and it is not a quality judgement either. It checks that claims are stated at the right strength, that media provenance is correct, that pricing does not hide mandatory fees, and that the capability modes are named accurately. If something needs changing, you get a specific reason.

Verification

There are four independent evidence types, each dated and scoped: company identity, access to a specific robot, a specific capability demonstrated under stated conditions, and completed bookings on the platform. Each is shown to buyers as what it is. There is no single verified badge that means "good supplier", because that badge would not mean anything.

Briefs and quoting

You receive briefs that pass the hard filters for your service area, equipment and availability. The first wave of a brief goes to at most three suppliers, so a brief you receive is worth a real answer.

Quotes are itemised using shared line types. This is more work than sending a number, and it is the reason buyers on this platform can compare quotes at all. Quote versions are immutable; revising means issuing a new version.

What it costs

Listing is free on the Supplier Free plan. Paid plans buy listing capacity, seats and tooling. Commission is charged on the delivered value of a booking and applies on every plan, including the free one. Pass-through transport cost, travel time, accommodation, tax and refundable deposits are excluded from the commission base.

What the platform will not do for you

It will not sell you ranking. Advertising is available, it is always in a labelled block, and it does not move you up the organic results or into the first wave of a brief. It will not let you list a robot you do not control. It will not let a manufacturer video stand in for your own work. It will not guarantee you leads.
